Kathmandu valley is an ancient valley offering a series of temples. Often known as the city of temples and goddesses, Kathmandu valley has a lot to offer to the tourists willing to visit to Nepal. The ancient kingdom of Kathmandu preserves famous palace complexes, temples, stupas, monasteries and many more. The given itinerary below covers the UNESCO listed world heritage sites in Kathmandu.

It is Nepal’s #1 visited place. Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan and Bhaktapur, the sleeping bishnu are UNESCO listed sites. Besides the monuments inside the valley, Kathmandu also offers short treks around the hills which end in 2 or three days. Below is a sightseeing tour itinerary in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu sightseeing tour

Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu. The sightseeing in Kathmandu covers Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Sleeping bishnu on this day. Free evening to shop around.

Day 03: Another day in Kathmandu for sightseeing. This day sightseeing in Kathmandu includes sightseeing in Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan durbar Square. Free time in the evening for shopping.
